The Gescod network brings more experiential learning to Impact Job Days 2026

Olive People is pleased to announce that Gescod has joined Impact Job Days 2026 (IJD26) as a Thematic Partner for the Brazzaville Rep of Congo edition of the platform.

Gescod is the multi-stakeholder network of the Grand-Est region (France), federating local authorities involved in international cooperation and solidarity.

As part of this partnership, Gescod will co-design and co-organize two experiential learning activities taking place on May 28–29, 2026 in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.

The program will include a practical workshop and a site visit visit to a sustainable farming cooperative, giving participants the opportunity to discover concrete approaches to sustainable agriculture.

These activities will help participants better understand how agricultural entrepreneurship can become a viable and impactful profession, while also highlighting the role of sustainable farming practices in creating opportunities for skills development and local economic growth.

Gescod brings strong experience in supporting agricultural value chains and local entrepreneurship in the Republic of Congo, including initiatives aimed at strengthening sustainable agricultural sectors and empowering local producers.

This partnership reflects the broader vision of Impact Job Days: sustainability becomes tangible when organizations, practitioners, and talent work together.

By engaging partners such as Gescod, Olive People continues to strengthen the ecosystem of collaborations needed to accelerate green skills, sustainable entrepreneurship, and job creation across Africa.
