Partnership in Action: Jaune Congo joins Impact Job Days 2026 as Thematic Partner
Olive People is pleased to announce that JauneCongo has joined Impact Job Days 2026 (IJD26) as a Thematic Partner, reinforcing the platform’s mission to connect sustainability actors, skills development, and job creation across Africa.
JauneCongo is a DRC-based, highly respected agriculture company whose mission is to contribute to building a different world where respect for people and nature is paramount. Their goal is to promote agriculture based on the principles of environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
JauneCongo’s production model is based on the principles of local production for local consumption, worker ownership of the company, and from-farm-to-fork supply chains.
As part of this collaboration, JauneCongo will co-design and co-organize experiential learning activities during the Kinshasa DRC- edition of Impact Job Days, taking place on June 4–5, 2026.
The practical workshops will introduce participants to agroecology as a pathway to acquiring green skills and developing sustainable employability and demonstrate how sustainable agriculture can generate both livelihoods and environmental impact.
In this immersive learning experience, participants will interact directly with practitioners, explore practical solutions, and understand the real-world dynamics of green economic transformation.
The partnership reflects Olive People’s broader vision: sustainability transitions are driven by ecosystems linking entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, companies, higher education institutions, and talent; where knowledge, partnerships, and opportunities converge to accelerate green skills and sustainable jobs.
